Christmas Wonderland Event Promises Over 30,000 Square Feet of Ice Skating and Sliding Excitement For Central Mississippi Families.
The State’s largest outlet shopping destination, The Connection in Pearl, will host Christmas Wonderland’s 55-day run beginning November 12 in the Parking Lot of Mississippi Braves stadium across the street from Outlets of Mississippi and Bass Pro Shop.
Pearl, MS (October 11, 2017): The Merit Health network of hospitals and clinics and Big South Events, LLC announced today that on November 12, Central Mississippi families will soon be making unforgettable Christmas memories at Christmas Wonderland - an ice skating and sliding extravaganza. The event will be held under a giant 30,000 + square foot tent in the parking lot of Mississippi Braves Stadium. With Merit Health as presenting sponsor, Christmas Wonderland promises event-goers 55 days of family entertainment unlike any event venue in the State.
“Today may be a rather warm fall day on the Braves parking lot, but in a few short weeks, it will be much cooler inside the big Christmas Wonderland tent - filled with thousands of our Mississippi neighbors enjoying ice skating, ice sliding, and more,” stated Big South partner and Morning Show co-host for US 96/Program Director 93.5 The Legend , Scott Steele. “Thanks to Merit Health, BankPlus, Coke, Outlets of MS, Keller Williams, BFAC.COM, and a host of other supportive sponsors,” Steele added, “young and old alike will enjoy this Christmas season with a winter holiday experience unequaled in anywhere in Mississippi!”

In addition to over 7,000 sq.feet of ice rink, and a 120 ft. long double ice slide appropriately titled, The Arctic Blast , an assortment of inflatables will be available upon which even the youngest event-goers can bounce and play. Throughout the nearly eight week long event there will be a variety of local and regional concerts and entertainment appearing daily on the BankPlus Stage - ranging from church and school choirs to professional entertainers. Christmas Wonderland will operate daily from 10am - 11pm Monday thru Thursday, and 12 noon - 11pm Friday thru Sunday.
